Arvonne Fraser Library

Project Description
The Arvonne Fraser Library is a part of the Hennepin County Library System. Originally designed as a credit union by architect Ralph Rapson, it became an underutilized and nearly obsolete building due to building envelope issues. A new roof and roof drains were installed to correct years of water infiltration. A 600sf section of the main floor was removed to add daylight and visually connect the lower level. New skylights and glass partitions added transparency across the building’s interior.
Project Highlights:
- Historically significant building
