John Jensvold
Vice President Project Development
As Vice President, John is a key leader and drives project development and customer relations at Shaw-Lundquist. He brings over 30 years of experience securing work through a negotiated approach and long-term client relations in a variety of markets.
John earned an MBA in Management and Finance from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, and a BA in Humanities from St. Olaf College. He also holds an Economic Development Finance Professional certification from the National Development Council.
John has deep roots in the Twin Cities community, having served on many non-profit boards. He currently serves on the board of directors for the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce. His past board experience includes Neighborhood House, The Family Partnership, Inver Hills Community College Foundation, Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Fun Facts
Do you have a favorite movie? I am an unapologetic film buff, particularly movies from the early Hollywood era. I’ve watched Casablanca more times than I care to admit.
Do you have a favorite travel destination? My wife and I really adore two places; the Florida gulf coast and the Northwoods of Minnesota. Sand and snow both have a special allure.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I fully expected to become a famous cartoonist.
