University of Minnesota Cargill Plant Genomics
First national plant genomics research center in U.S.
This 64,000 sf renovation and build-out is the nation’s first public research university building dedicated to microbial and plant genomics. It has extensive technology and advanced MEP systems, making it the most tech-evolved building on the University of Minnesota Campus.
The Cargill Building was one of four winners of the AIA Minneapolis Merit Awards. The jury selected this project due to its “…High Design. The building fits well into its tight site, and the use of materials is innovative and elegant.”
