Vice President Estimating & Preconstruction
As Vice President of Preconstruction & Estimating, Tom leads the preconstruction team in the negotiation of subcontracts, oversees all preconstruction activities, and prepares and reviews project estimates.
Tom first joined the Shaw-Lundquist team in 1983 as a Project Manager and Estimator, helping shape Shaw-Lundquist as the collaborative, dedicated company it is today. As a LEED AP, Tom also has advanced depth of knowledge in green building practices, making him an asset for Shaw-Lundquist’s green building projects.
Tom has an unmatched attention to detail as he conducts constructability reviews that result in value engineered cost savings, risk identification and mitigation, streamlined project schedules, and accurate site logistics plans.
